The first step is your initial visit and consultation. At that time we will provide you with a complete dental examination including x-rays, a medical history review, a comprehensive intraoral and extraoral exam, a periodontal exam and an oral cancer screening to identify any dental problems and possible treatments. After determining your oral health we will diagnose what type of cleaning is right for you. There are a variety of additional services available in our office.

Preventative Dentistry

Prevention is always better than treatment. By actively preventing disease and decay through regular home care, professional dental cleanings and regular exams, you will maintain a healthy, beautiful smile. In addition, effective prevention can help you avoid costly treatments in the future to remove decay, restore teeth and treat gum disease. Regular prevention is your best investment.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic Dentistry addresses the problems of stained or discolored teeth, crooked, crowded teeth, dark, unsightly filings, swollen, red, receding gums, gaps and spaces between teeth, ugly crowns with black lines, chipped and cracked teeth, teeth that seem out of proportion.

Veneers

Veneers are porcelain restorations that are bonded to the front of teeth. Cracked, chipped and discolored teeth can benefit from ultra-thin porcelain veneers. It is an effective and successful way for patients who want to eliminate spaces between their teeth or straighten their teeth but do not want to wear braces for 12 months or longer. In just two appointments, veneers can provide you with an appealing smile and beautiful teeth.

Tooth Whitening

One-hour Power Bleaching offers optimum results in the shortest amount of time. A hydrogen peroxide gel is applied and a blue light activates the gel to lighten your teeth. You can listen to music or watch a movie and in just one hour your teeth can be two to five shades lighter. This is a great procedure for anyone with a busy schedule and the desire for sparkling white teeth.

Invisible Braces

Invisalign is a dramatic new way to straighten teeth. Made without irritating metal, these nearly invisible flexible plastic aligners can be removed while you eat, brush or floss your teeth. The treatment involves using a series of custom-made aligners. About every two weeks, you will use a new set of aligners until your teeth are straight and your smile is perfect. The length of treatment is approximately the same as for braces.

Bonding and White Fillings

Bonding is a cosmetic filling that is used for cracked, chipped or broken teeth. To fill in defects or cavities, a bonding material made from composite resins is applied to teeth and hardened by a chemical or light process.

Crowns

Crowns, also known as caps, are designed to cover a large area of damaged teeth. A crown protects a tooth that is fractured, broken, or has insufficient structure to hold a filling. Natural looking and durable, crowns are made from porcelain and can restore or improve the smile of many patients

Bridges

A bridge is a device that holds custom made teeth and has anchors which attach to neighboring teeth. To strengthen them and hold the device in place, the neighboring teeth are prepared as crowns. Bridges are made from semi-precious or precious metals and porcelain. Some bridges can be fabricated with porcelain only to achieve optimum aesthetics.

CEREC Inlays, Onlays and Crowns

CEREC is a revolutionary way to restore damaged teeth in a single visit. With CEREC there is no need for us to make an impression and send it to a lab. Using a special camera, a picture is taken of the prepared tooth using CAD/CAM, a three-dimensional software program. Once your new restoration is designed, it is sent to a "milling machine" that carves the crown into a tooth-shaped piece of porcelain and it is bonded in place during the same visit.

Implants

Implants are used to replace one or more missing teeth. Titanium posts are imbedded beneath the gums. Over time, the titanium integrates with the surrounding bone and acts as a structure on which replacement teeth are mounted. Because implants fuse to the bone, they can provide strong and permanent support for bridges, individual crowns or even full dentures.
